Lamb Pitas with Cucumber Sauce

Bumble's recipe -- It's the best. I could eat ten of them!
Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 3 cloves of garlic crushed in press or fine chopped
  • 2 teaspoon fresh or dried basil to taste
  • Fresh or dried oregano to taste
  • Sea salt, pepper, and whatever else (crushed red pepper is good)
  • 1 big oz of Extravagonzo Roasted Garlic Culinary Olive Oil
  • 1 big cucumber
  • 8 oz sour cream or yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh or dried dill weed
  • 1 red onion
  • Feta or Goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1-2 packs of pita pockets
Instructions
  1. Cook the lamb in Extravagonzo Roasted Garlic Olive Oil with the crushed garlic and seasoning
  2. Mix the chopped cucumber with the sour cream, adding a little dill
  3. Finish off the lamb with a drizzle of Extravagonzo Garlic Olive Oil
  4. Stuff your pita with the lamb
  5. Garnish with red onion, feta cheese, and top off with the cucumber sauce
Notes
Enjoy with a good glass of red wine! And several friends.
